Children were given vocabulary cards of farm animals and pictures of what they provide us. They matched the same.

Children were given photos of hen and cotton balls as small chicks. They rolled the dice and counted the number of dots and according to that they placed the cotton balls as chicks near the picture of the hen.

Children had done sponge painting of different colours of autumn leaves. Today they learnt sorting using these . This activity was done to give them an idea about the concept of ( big ,small) ( pointed and round)

Children were introduced about the different colours of leaves that we see in Autumn season when they dry out. They painted the leaf cut outs with same colors using sponges

It helps in language development by introducing various objects that can sink or float.

Children were made aware that in spring season one of the activity that people usually do is planting. So they were explained the different steps of planting and what is needed for the plants to grow like soil, seeds, water and sunlight. They enjoyed doing this activity.

Playing with paper boat is always fun but relating it with the concept of float and sink is really exciting. Children did a small activity to check how a boat floats in water, and when we add weight inside it then how does it sink. The boat was made out of aluminium foil and children added small stones in it to increase the weight and observe how it sinks.

For better understanding of float and sink concept, here children are learning to differentiate between heavy and light weight objects by using balance scale.

As we started with our new theme so this activity has been done to make the children understand the concept of float and sink. 1) They sorted the items according to material. 2) Then they practically explored what floats and what sinks.

Today our children visited to a Nursery and explored the place by using their senses. They even explored the places around them while their walk to the Nursery. They were very excited and enjoyed this trip as it was a whole new experience for them .

As we introduced the children with the second sense , which is hearing ( sounds) so children are learning to make sound canisters to understand the concept that we hear with our ears .

As we have introduced pre writing skills to children, here are the children learning the first stroke - Standing line.

As we started with our new theme of sorting so here are the children learning to sort different objects ( classroom objects) in their theme activity. In this particular activity they are learning to identify as well as sort the objects.
