About School
Philosophy and Goals Our curriculum is founded on five key principles and beliefs, which are grounded in theories and research in early childhood education and development. We believe that every child is an individual who has the right to expect commitment, love and respect. Each child regardless of social status, race, religion, or national origin, should be given the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and responsive multicultural environment that will foster his or her holistic development. We believe that every child is a competent and capable person, with innate abilities, unique talent, gifts and unlimited possibilities for change and growth that must be nurtured, encouraged, and developed to his or her fullest potential. We believe that early childhood education should foster holistic development, to serve as the foundation for intellectual growth and development. We believe that early childhood education should nurture life skills, and promote independent, life-long learners who have the positive dispositions, attitudes and feelings towards learning. We recognize and support the critical role parents play in the lives of their children by promoting meaningful and collaborative home-centre partnership.

Infant Curriculum

Infant Programmes (for 2 to 17 months) We recognise the need for fine nurturing and dedicated supervision of a child during the infant stages. Our infant programmes cater to babies from 2 to 17 months’ old. With trained and caring professionals specialising in infant care, development and/or state-registered nursing qualifications, we are well-equipped to look after infants’ growing and developmental needs. Our infant care centres are aesthetically designed and specially-fitted to ensure optimal safety and protection of infants while maximising their development and learning capabilities.

Toddler Curriculum

Early Years Curriculum The Early Years programme is a holistic, child-centred and exploratory curriculum that focuses on developing children’s communication and language skills, creative expressions, physical abilities and well-being, and personal and social development. In the Early Years, our curriculum centres on learning experiences which provide emergent, play situations where children make sense of things and people around them, investigate the world, form relationships and interactions. Early years learning ensures a smooth transition to the more structured and skills-driven learning expectations of the Preschool Programme. Focus on developing: Communication & language skills Creative Expression Physical skills & well-being Personal & social development Provides opportunity for: Emergent, play situations Making sense of things around them Investigating the world Forming relationships and interactions Ensures a smooth transition to a more structured and skills-driven learning in the child’s later years Toddler Programme (for 18 to 30 Months) Toddlers’ learning experiences are built around their natural tendencies to be active, inquisitive and exploratory learners who learn through sensory and tactile stimulations. A warm, conducive and stimulating environment that is rich in responsive interactions and relationships is key to promoting and developing the children’s expressive language and communications, affective and physical growth. Routines and transition support children’s efforts in adapting to group care setting, and in developing autonomy and self-help skills.
