In the toddler years, children begin to experiment on a more advanced level than at the infant stage. Their range of motor skills increases, and they begin to progress to a higher cognitive level. Lower Kindergarten or JKG is a critical time for children, as it is here that they begin an adventure of a lifetime of learning. Every day, your child is learning and experiencing more, which is why our program is designed to constantly challenge. Our caring, experienced teachers are dedicated to providing a rich and nurturing environment that will prepare your child for Kindergarten. We promote independence in an organised atmosphere, as it is increasingly important for children to be their own thinkers. We also teach children to work well within a group, through listening, sharing and cooperation.
At Maple Bear, we understand that the security of your child is of utmost importance. Monitor your child through live CCTV feed in addition to which the In-Out times of the children is notified to the parents on the Parent Communication App.
Programs at Maple Bear Noida school is defined by the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed through conceptual learning. From the beginning, our experienced teachers prepare children to be focused, independent, and innovative learners, as well as responsible, respectful, and mindful individuals.
At Maple Bear we ensure the children travel safely to and fro from the school. In addition, we provide stress-free pickup notifications for all our children using the school transport. MEET GLADYS NG OF MAPLE BEAR SINGAPORE For Gladys Ng, owning two Maple Bear schools in Singapore is a dream come true and the pinnacle of a long, meaningful career in early childhood education. Her passion for working with young children saw her work as a preschool teacher and later became a vice-principal of a preschool. Her trajectory in education was taken to the next level, however, after a casual meeting in November 2013 with Patricia Koh, now director of Maple Bear Singapore. Mrs. Koh first proposed to her the idea of setting up her own childcare center under the Maple Bear brand. The rest, as they say, is history: Gladys, her father and several friends joined forces and opened Maple Bear Pasir Panjang in February 2014 and Maple Bear Claymore Connect in August 2015. Gladys believes strongly in the Maple Bear curriculum which she feels is aligned with her own philosophy towards early childhood education: “As an educator myself, I have always believed that children’s learning should not be rushed. Maple Bear provides just that; it encourages children to learn through meaningful play experiences, in a relaxing yet nurturing setting,” she says. Witnessing the real-life results of the bilingual immersion program has been gratifying for Gladys. She recalls one student who started at Maple Bear two years ago speaking only his native German and left this year to start primary school capable of having entire conversations in Mandarin with his Chinese teacher.
